Where to play paintball in Las Vegas

Updated on March 23, 2011

Las Vegas is for families too

There are lots of things to do in Las Vegas other than gambling or hitting up ladies of the night for their services. You can't just leave the kids in the hotel room while you hit up the slots. There are plenty of great activities for kids near the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas. In fact, there are at least half a dozen paintball places within a 30 minute drive of The Strip. You can get to them using the various Las Vegas public transportation options or by getting a cab on the Strip.

If you have your own paintball equipment, you might have trouble flying with it. I suggest mailing it to the hotel you're staying at ahead of time. It won't cost too much and you just have to make sure you write your name, the fact that you're a guest, and what days you're reservation at the hotel are for and they'll hold it for you.

3 paintball places within a 30 mintue drive of The Strip

Bonehead Paintball - 1325 E. Flamingo Rd. Unit D

This place has a medium and small paintball field. The one complaint about it is that it gets a little hot, but you have to kind of expect that in Las Vegas because air conditioning is darn expensive and paintball fields don't bring in the kind of money that hotels and casinos do.

Combat Zone Paintball - 13011 S. Las Vegas Blvd

This place has a really great staff and it's an outdoor field. Paintballing in the desert is a new experience for a lot of first time visitors.

Las Vegas Premier Paintball - 1400 North Rampart Blvd

This place is really great considering the relatively low prices and the quality of the field they offer. There are 3 fields to play on, and they're big. This is a great place for beginners or advanced players.

Very awesome. We always take the kids, but we do museums and such, never thought about paintball. We play woods ball and it's a blast. CO2 gets expensive, so we purchased our own tank so we could refill our own cartridges. Thanks for the tip.
