Winter Time

Updated on August 21, 2013

As I write this, it is March 2,2009. Just as we are getting prepared for spring, we have been presented with a beautiful winter wonderland outside. Just a few of the areas that have gotten a ton of snow overnight and into today include New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, and North Carolina.

Drivers are warned to be careful and drive more slowly than they ordinarily would. A news report that I just heard says that you should go 20-25mph even on the highway. There have been a lot of accidents. Many people are being advised to stay home unless they absolutely, urgently need to go somewhere.

Even if we don't go out driving, we can't help opening our front doors and taking a look at the gorgeous sight.

Children are playing in the snow, building snowmen and throwing snowballs. They can't stop laughing. It's bringing them a lot of joy.

Adults are having fun in the snow too. When I went out to take some photographs, I was greeted by others who were doing the very same thing.

Wherever you are, if you are experiencing this kind of winter weather, I hope you're enjoying it!
