The Albany Kids of the 70's

Fling Back to Spring!
Fling Back to Spring!

Kids of the 70's is a charitable, social organization for those of us that grew up in the 70's in Albany, Georgia. It is not tied to any other group, school, and club or service organization. Those participants simply desire to get back, those feelings of fun, passion and excitement that we ALL experienced back in the 70's in Albany. Albany was a very special place then, and I think we now realize that from the discussions and memories we have witnessed the past few weeks since this Group's inception. Almost all of us, at some point or another, intermingled together in our neighborhoods, school, clubs/service organizations, sports, churches, outings, dance class, boy scouts, girl scouts or other service related organizations. Most of know each other, or, at least, know OF each other. We are all part of our cherished memories of those fun times and years. Please join us to experience and reconnect with your old friends, classmates and acquaintances. Our October 2011 event, "Rockin' the Train Station" raised almost $3000 for The Easter Seals Society of South Georgia. Stay tuned for future events!!!

Albany is my hometown, born and raised there. Moved away in 1988 but have missed it so very much. Long for the days that use to be there...Albany will always be HOME!

I've been to Albany, GA once, and in nearby areas of Southwest Georgia. I lived in the Savannah area for 13 years, so have traveled much of the state.
