My Old Kentucky Dinner Train, Bardstown, Kentucky
Enjoy fine dining in vintage 1940s era dining cars. The dinner menu features a four course meal with your choice of entrees, including Basil Cream Chicken, Parmesan CrustedTilapia , Signature My Old Kentucky Dinner Train Prime Rib and Roast Loin of Pork. For lunch, you might enjoy a traditional Kentucky Hot Brown. This Kentucky favorite is made with toasted bread topped with sugar cured ham and turkey breast, homemade cheese sauce and bacon and tomato, then baked until it is bubbly and golden brown before serving.Sit back, relax, return to a time when life was slower, travel was by train, and train travel, luxury style was the only way to go. Children under five years of age cannot be accommodated for safety reasons.
The Old Road Dinner Train, Two Locations: Blissfield and Charlotte, Michigan
Board this historic train for an evening of fine dining and entertainment, rated a 5 star experience every year since 2003. The Old Road Dinner Train has the distinction of being the longest operating dinner train in North America.
The Blissfield Train makes a 12 mile journey through the scenic Michigan countryside while you enjoy a five course meal. Entree selections vary with the seasons. The winter menu offers prime rib, seared salmon, chicken breast with tarragon mustard sauce, and wild mushroom linguine.
As the Charlotte Train takes a leisurely, two to two and a half hour trip around town, you will enjoy a five course meal while being entertained by a troupe of actors performing a murder mystery/comedy. The menu selections include prime rib, grilled tuna with sesame seeds andponzu sauce and chicken breast with tarragon mustard sauce.
Both trains feature a cash bar.
Napa Valley Wine Train, Napa, California
Travel one of the nation's only active, historic, passenger railroads as you enjoy an exquisite dining experience, and hard to find, regional wines.
