   Mahabaleshwar is one of the best hill station in India. I will recommend you to visit his place. There are some other places like, shimla, Manali, Kerala, which you can also visit. Here, you can find variety of culture in India. If you are planning to visit India, i will highly recommend these places.

   each area of the u.s. has its own foods so while traveling, you might check a guide book or speak to the natives for the best foods and places to eat.
   the east coast is ideal to begin a visit.
   maine lobster, new york city-italian foods, baltimore-crab cakes, the South-barbecue, new orleans-many excellent restaurants, cajun food.
   the mid-west, in my opinion, is pretty boring both in terms of foods and scenery.
   San francisco, the monterey peninsula, santa barbara, la, and san diego are worth seeing.

   I would suggest they visit Butuan, Philippines and try some of our delicacies.  I will let them try also the famous Cookie Monster and Nelusko of Margies.  Then, from Butuan, we will visit the Tinuy-an Fall in Bislig City, then to the Enchanted River in Hinatuan. We will also visit the world's biggest crocodile, Lolong (though not yet confirmed).

   To foreigners coming to this country, I would suggest they first see NY city,  Actually, this city is like the capital city of the world, but it definitely is the hub and I believe the most important city in America today.  The culture, the arts, Wall St., the fashion industry,  economic center of the world, business center of the world, etc.  is a draw for first time visitors.  Plus, it has the Statue of Lilberty which I think everyone should see and experience.  Next, I'd send them to Philidelphia, PA because this is where our country started out in 1776.  The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall , Betsy Ross' House, etc.  This is the beginnings of our country.  And then, Washington, DC  because it is the capital city of our country. I think that is very important.  After that, if they still have money to spend, I'd suggest going out west - Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona - to get a real feel for the West.  And, then end the trip with a visit to California, which I believe is the most beautiful state in our nation.  The Pacific coast of California, I think is breathtaking.  I would rent a car an drive from San Diego up to San Francisco and see the coast and cities and towns in between.  By then, I think their wad would be spent.

   It does depend on what area of the United States you are when you are talking about food. Sam3m did a great job recommending some of the areas, but I totally disagree that the midwest is boring. Saint Louis is known for its delicious toasted ravioli. You've never had real toasted ravioli until you've had it from Saint Louis! Saint Louis also has an amazing variety of Italian food, partically at an area called "The Hill".
   
   There's also Wisconsin in the upper Midwest which is famous for its cheese. It's really fun to take a tour of a cheese factory while getting fresh samples! Delicious!
   
   Chicago is very well known for chicago style hot dogs, italian beef, and chicago style pizza. Yum!
   
   Kansas City has unique and delicious barbeque.
   
   I'm sure I'm forgetting others. No matter where you go in the US, you are bound to find some tasty treats!

   i would suggest the beautiful scenery in Sinkiang, Tibet,  Yunnan, etc
   food in Guangzhou and Chongqing
   spring festival, mid-autumn day, dragon-boat festival,etc
