I assume you are talking about the United States. How low are we talking about here? Can you stay at a Hamtpon Inn or will you have to stay at the low budget motels where even the front counter clerk is a giant bedbug? I'm warning you that there is really nothing to see or do in the US if you don't have much of a budget. You won't find many buildings built before 1970 and there are tons of fast food places and parking lots with retail shops we call "strip malls". They are everywhere and look like a bunch of ugly, flat-roofed, fake-stucco blocks with giant colorful signs. Most of the US is a very un-interesting place with very little character unless you get away from the cities. But if you go to the these rural areas and you're a foreigner, the people will all stare at you and not be hospitable.
