If I visited your city, state, or country, what would be a must-see attraction?
North Carolina's got a lot of must-sees but how about the Asheboro Zoo; it's the largest natural habitat zoo in the whole wide world. On a a roll here: Great Smoky Mountains National Park; Biltmore House in Asheville; and last but not least the Outer Banks National Seashore.
I would say that it would be a shame if they didn't get to see the ocean, even if it were to just walk on the beach. Secondly, I would say the zoo because it is a really nice topical experience.
Definately Zion National Park! It is an amazing place to visit. Red rock and incredible peaks. It could keep you busy for weeks. And it's unlike any landscape I've ever seen.
Machu Picchu in Peru is an amazing place where you can feel a connection with nature and ancestry!
Maybe the "LumiLinna Snow Castle" in Kemi, Finland. You can only visit that in the winter, because every year the castle is rebuilt from snow. There is a restaurant, a hotel and a chapel in the SnowCastle. You can even get married there. This season is over for now and the new SnowCastle will be opened on January 26th 2013.
If you visit Florida there are so many places to see....
an abundance of state parks....Blue Spring State Park in Orange City is home to many manatee in a lovely setting...
Sanibel and Captiva have beaches filled with amazing shells...
Venice Beach is a place to find a kazillion shark teeth...
Marion County Florida is 'hoss country'...you can watch these majestic creatures cavort in open fields...you can also travel around and see the painted horses of Marion county.
These are just a few of the must sees.
A must see on a visit to California in my opinion is a visit to Yosemite National Park. It is just breath takingly beautiful especially in April and May if there is melting snow from the Sierra Nevada, this makes the waterfalls which fall 4,000 feet into the valley wonderful, but don't stand too close to them the water is only a little above freezing point.
After that a trip to Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Parks, to see the Giant Sequoia trees. They must be seen to be believed.
For bird watchers a trip to the Pinnacles State Park is a good idea. This small park is located near Kings City on CA 101. It is a must see for ornithologists because you can see wild California Condors. The State Park is a release point for hand reared juveniles and you are almost guaranteed a view, either of the birds in flight or roosting in trees around the park. You may also get to experience an earthquake too as the park is a very active seismological region, with several small quakes a day sometimes.

If you visit Michigan, make sure to visit Lake Michigan, the Henry Ford Museum, Greenwich Village, Kellogg's, Tiger Stadium, Bell's Brewery, Mackinaw Island... I could keep going, but those are some great places to visit.
Malaysia is where I am originally from, I would recommend the Petronas Twin Towers. If you wish to, you can pay to go up for a view of the city.
For Singapore, where I am living now, I would recommend the Marina Bay area as you can explore the Esplanade, Marina Bay Sands, take a photo with the Merlion and shop shop shop! http://liliansg.hubpages.com/hub/Shoppi … Marina-Bay
