In the US or around the world, what is the most unusual, bizarre or humorous name of a town or city you have heard of, passed through or seen? I'll go first . . . HOPEULIKIT, GEORGIA
sort by best latest
HAHAHAHAH Now that is hilarious to say the least!!! NO WAY on that Wales????? HAHAHAHA Good grief . . . . . New Zealand!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness!!! Yes, I believe you are right on this one no doubt!!! LOL
Thanks for the really hysterical one here.
HAHAHAHA How very interesting on all, but to add the celebrities home town's is great! Too funny on those two signs, wonder which one the college students take? LOL Yes, a lot of knee looking, as that would add up each time no doubt! Thanks.
A couple more I should add: Elton John, who was bisexual for years before going totally homosexual, comes from Pinon Middlesex, England (pun unintended).
LOL Molly, that would actually be a good story to know, no doubt. Thanks for the answer.
Good one. Makes me think of that song, "Tainted Love." How unusual for a town to be named such.
hahahaha good one! Thanks Michele.
LOL, I bet it gets a lot of visitors just because . . . . well . . . LOL Begs the question once again, who is in charge of naming these towns, etc.?
Thanks for answering and sharing here. I appreciate it.
I ran out of room on the other page. On Oahu, Koko Head Crater has a legend; to save Pele from getting raped by Kama-pua, Kapo removed her detachable vagina and threw it into the ocean to lure him away. That became Koko Head.
Oh my, LOL, I believe you are pulling my leg on these here! LOL too funny. Thanks for answering and adding to the fun.
A little leg-pulling might be required to navigate Spread Eagle ;) j/k. They're all real cities I travel through to get from Milwaukee to my favorite UP destinations.
Wow, how VERY interesting there eelo! I hope these real cities live up to their names -well, I guess. LOL Thanks for the additional response!
LOL Kyle, both are unusual and very funny! Thanks for answering.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! LOL That is too much. Thanks for answering. Wow, who would have thought? The next question asked should be who is in charge of naming these cities, towns and streets? LOL
