You chose your hotel for a reason: location, amenities, service, price. Even meeting all of your criteria, that doesn't make it a good hotel. You can be a guest in a lovely environment but feel as if you're doing them a favor by being there. What makes a good hotel is the way the staff makes you feel while there. If you feel appreciated, valued and respected, you'll think you're in the best hotel in the world and will keep going back.
