Can anyone tell me what is the actual function of this item?
This item really does have a special function, and no it's not some sort of monument from Easter Island. I added the eyes with a sharpie and the yellow crown, however everything else here is apart of it's original state. After everyone tries to guess what it is, then I will tell you all the answer. I promise!
Glad you told us the crown is not part of the piece. Looks like a canister to a blender or smoothie maker. But it does really look like a monster from a syfy movie ...
You are in the ballpark PaisleeGal, or maybe I need to say the kitchen.
Food processor or blender?? It does look like it already has a 'face' without the bits you have added.
I'd say it's off of a blender, but it does kind of look like Sarah Jessica Parker.
Hmm... it looks like either a mead blender or a penis grinder for the celibacy-vowed monk who has a hand with a mind of its own!
Funny!, My first thought was a character in Veggie Tales!
I want to leave this comment to everybody here, and that is this item is less than 4 inches in height.
Could be a blender, or the container off a vacuum cleaner. Dunno!
The upper part of a vacuum brewer?
...
(meaningless additional text because of HP's policy for short replies)
It is some type of planter - or vase - to grow starter seeds/plants.
Looks like half a coffee percolator(Cona Coffee) from the 70's, where the coffee brewed in the bottom half and then forced its way up through a central draw-pipe to the top half, which could be kept on a heating ring to stay warm/drinkable.
I believe it is a blender for shakes, smoothies, etc. That is what I believe. Or a Big Gulp cup - LOL.
All of your answers were great. The problem simply was that you all were thinking too big. This item actually fits into the palm of your hand, and it's just a little under 4 inches in height. The black thing that's coming down the front of the item which looks like a nose is actually a hand level that you squeeze in and out. This item is an empty pepper grinder. Now you know TheHoleStory!
I never used a pepper grinder - in fact I do not even use pepper.
I have a set of these in the kitchen. It could be either an old salt or pepper grinder.

Can anyone tell me if cattail plants are toxic to dogs?I am asking because I'm getting really good at making cattail cordage and want to know if I can make toys and mats out of it. I can't find cattail on any of the lists that I have looked at on the internet. Thank you

There are some Pastors, actually telling their members not to vote. They don't agree with Obama's stand on Gay rights, and abortion, or they don't like Romney because he is a Mormon. You only have one vote, and it belongs to you and NOT your Pastor!

It is interesting how often a woman finds out after dating a man for sometime, even after being married, that prior to their relationship commencing, he cross-dressed.Do others agree that it is a responsibility of cross-dressers to disclose this aspect of their personality and behaviour to those...
