Food and food safety must become an universal priority. With the advent of new technology for a safe, all natural sanitizer, I would mandate all cruise ships to only serve ozonated water. I would also put in place stringent rules for rinsing all foods that are not peeled to be thoroughly rinsed under a food sanitizer.
The sanitizer must be test and be able to handle warm temperatures - especially in the warm cabins of the ship preparing the food.
Fresh fruit and vegetables are a delight not just for our waist line but also for our nutrition but without proper preparation, without sanitizing the food especially the skins of the fruits and vegetables, we run a high risk of food borne illness.
