   Is it worth it to travel across the world?
   
   There are so mant beautiful destinations in the world, just waitig to be explored by more people everyday. From Hawaii to Portugal to Thailand, there are so many cultures and languages across the world. Traveling is such an amazing thing to do and experience. Traveling can be expensive but finding the right ticketing sales can adjust the expenses. Visiting mystical islands such as the Galapagos Islands, Jamaica or Fiji would be breath taking. Relaxing by their clear blue water beaches and staying in bungalowss definitely abucket list goal. The satisfaction and relaxation are certainly worth it

   If you have the time and the money, it is definitely worth the effort to travel around the world Like you said, there are too many amazing and magnificent sights and places which are too good to miss. Moreover, there are plenty of low-cost air carriers these days, making a world tour more and more possible. Seem like you already have a great wish-list! Good luck!

   I would say that travelling the world is a good thing.
   
   I travelled extensively across Europe in my twenties and thirties, then the USA in my forties.
   
   As I travelled I enjoyed lots of experiences. But one thing I did find is that most of the world, well people around the regions I visited, shared the same hopes, fears and desires. So the more I travelled the more I found people to be the same. So I feel that I became a happier and more understanding person.

   Yes - Yes - Yes ! Save up and explore the world whenever you can . It broadens your life and mind and gives you awesome adventures & memories to last a lifetime ! Glacier Bay Alaska is one of the many places we have visited !

   Worth is up to the individual. Some do not like to travel much. I myself have been travelling for over 20 years. I decided to teach English and travel for some time. I was able to see most of Europe and lived in  Sweden, Qatar and the UAE. Personally it was totally worth it. The flights are expensive but I used to backpack and camp and eat my food from grocery stores. I lived on a budget. I do not regret it. And it was an education that one cant get at school or staying at home.

   I totally agree with Samuel Clemens, aka Mark Twain, that 'travel is lethal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness'. 
   
   If more bigoted, narrow-minded people would make the leap of faith and visit countries and cultures totally unlike their own, the world would be a much better place. 
   
   And I'm not talking about group tours catering to one's specific mind-set or religious affiliation.  I'm talking about getting off the beaten path, as it were, and seriously interacting with locals one-to-one, rather than confining one's itinerary to locations with chain hotels and a McDonald's within walking distance.  Such people might as well say home since they clearly aren't willing to step out of their comfort zone even for a short time. 
   
   As it is, budget constraints prevent me from visiting far off places personally, so I watch every TV travel show I can as well as check out travel videos of obscure places from the library.  Not quite the same as "being there", but extremely enlightening nonetheless for the day when I do have the money to visit in person!  :-D

   If you have the urge, enjoy visiting new and new places and have the energy then it is worth the effort. I won't say money doesn't matter here. It matters but the main thing is your willingness, you will power to do what you want to do.

   The two best things that has happened in my lifetime was traveling the world and loving my work for 44 years.
   
   Do it, no better education I can imagine, it help me discover I was an artist. Now my daughter has been following my foot steps, we both couldn't be happier.
