Today, August 25, 2016, is the 100th Anniversary of the Creation of the National Park Service which administers over 400 National Parks, National Monuments, National Historic Sites, etc. Living in the American Southwest my wife and I frequently visit National Parks, Monuments and similar sites. So far this year alone we have visited 6 National Parks including Saguaro National Park located a few miles down the road from where we live. We have also visited numerous National Monuments, National Historic Sites, etc. So what and how many of the over 400 NPS sites have you visited?

Yosemite is a beautiful park. We visited it the day after I took the picture, shown above, of my wife gazing down on the Giant Forest while sitting atop Moro Rock in Sequoia National Park.
I'd venture to guess that YNP is one of the most photographed locations on earth, every view at any angle is a picture. I have been to Moro Rock, some years ago-- sorry to see the trees there in a similar state as they are here.
