OMG! It must be winter? What do you think?

I just realized it. Twice in the past week, I got out of bed and the temperature inside was 69F. I was uncomfortable enough to put on a pair of socks and when I went out to dinner, I even wore a pair of shoes and not my Flip-Flops. I turned the TV on and they had a boat parade all decorated for Christmas. I went outside to pick up my paper and I saw a jogger wearing a stocking cap. And, it was so cold, the outside temperature was 58F. BRRRRRR! All of these are signs for us Floridians that we are having our winterseason. Yep! It must be Winter in Tampa! DON

    Hi Don...

Well, in my part of New England, the temps dropped to 18 degrees last night.  I think you will see snow birds flock to Florida in droves, and soon. Happy Sunday. -)

Lol.  And we need the humor. It looks as though this winter is going to be an especially tough one for us.

Well, when I got up this morning it was 20 degrees above zero...no need to speculate, I'm pretty sure it's winter and darn sure it'll get even colder here in the NE.

Hello there Don!.....Oh yeah....I'm sorry I can't cry for you, as I sit here with my long fluffy robe on OVER my sweats and 2 pair of wool socks.....& out my window is sleet, snow, wind and ice.  And this is considered "mild" and it's only just begun.
Just call me "Mama Bear," because I stocked up, created my hibernation schedule of activities and told everyone I'll see them come Spring.  I will always find new and better ways to deal with WNY winters because for me, this is home and of all the places I have lived, I come right back here.
I have a son in Georgia and one in California (so-called the Perfect weather destination of all) who would both love to have me move near them.  I love them dearly.....but Home is Home & Mama's staying right where she is.  Don.....69F & 58F?  I call that WONDERFUL!!  Peace, Paula
