I agree with Asheville! However, that seems to be a lot of artists, musicians, and writers thoughts hence unemployment levels. Its gorgeous and so full of culture though. However, I strongly distest the Dallas area. I've lived her all my life and used to love it. But since I've started thinking about where to raise my family my view on the area has changed. All I see now is the ever-spreading subdivisions, lack of urban renewal, lack of anything of substance but new franchises and constant developing for no reason. Egh. I do not really want to raise my kids here. I need a city with character and TREES. But, if you like McMansions and the NTTA then you'd love living in Dallas. I just hate what the suburbs (frisco, allen, mckinney, etc.) have done to the historical city of Dallas. Great question by the way!
