I will also share some of our pictures so you can have a quick view of the water theme park.
Where is Aqua Park Qatar - Near Abu Naklah Petrol Station
With a speed limit of 120 km/h, Aqua Park Qatar is almost an hour away from Ramada Signal. It's really far from Doha but it's worth it when you get there. Be careful though after turning to the side of Aqua park, after the small roundabout do not turn left, instead go straight and turn left after reaching the intersection. If you turn left from the small roundabout, you will be trap and you will see yourself again driving in the main road.
Me and my husband laugh many times because we can't count anymore how many times we saw a car that we surely know are going to aqua park but are taking the wrong lane.
Timings / Schedule
When the sun is not yet burning hot, usually the timings are from 10am to 8pm during weekdays (Saturday to Wednesday) and during the weekend (Thursday and Friday) 10 am to 10 pm.
Usually in the month of June and July, they are offering a night swimming starting from 6pm up to 2 am.
During the cold season, from November to February, they are close.
Guys Remember Friday and Tuesday
Friday is Family Day. Just like the big shopping malls here, guys are not allowed to enter the water theme park every Friday without female relatives.
Tuesday is Female Day! Remember females only.
Keep this in mind or you'll be pissed off while driving home.
Entrance Fee
Kids 3 years and below are free! Above 3 years old, prepare your 100 Qatari Riyals. Yeah, its a little bit expensive for many.
From time to time, they are giving promotions, discounts so before going to Aqua Park, its still better to check their official facebook fanpage, far better than their website because you can ask anything from their page and they usually answer right away.
Before entering the Aqua Park, on your left side, you'll find a small booth where you can buy your ticket. Can you see the man in white? I think he's buying his ticket.
One Piece, Two Piece or What?
Yes, in Aqua Park Qatar, you can wear your regular swimwear. You can wear bikini, two piece, one piece, swimdress, boyleg swimsuits, tankini or anything you want except jeans and outfit made of cotton. You really don't need to use cover up dress inside the water theme park because if not all, most of the guys are gentleman.
We went there last Easter and lots of women are wearing bikini, most of them are expats from the west.
If you forgot to bring something, there is one small store near the main entrance. You can buy almost anything you need like SPF lotion, shorts, swimwear and other fun stuffs for swimming.
Day or Night Swimming
Which do you prefer most?
Outside Foods are Not Allowed
There is a small cafeteria inside the Aqua Park where you can buy finger foods like burgers and fried chickens.
If you have a child or baby, you can bring milk, even a can of milk, or powder milk, no restrictions for them.
At first I was a bit worried about that, I thought my kids and husband will be disappointed but when they start to enjoy swimming, they almost forget about the food.
Cameras are Allowed - Meet Sheika Jamila
Cameras are allowed inside, you can take pictures as much as you can. If you have a water-proof camera, that's great because you can take your pictures while having fun inside the pool.
Her name is Sheika which means princess and Jamila which means beautiful. She's not a real princess but for us, she's really beautiful.

5 Rules When You Visit Aqua Park Qatar
This was posted last March 5, 2013 in their official fan page. Before going there, its worth telling young ones to follow the rules, no running or diving. Telling your kids not to run will prevent them from having an accident.
Last May 9, 2013, one child have had an accident, he slip on the floor and he suffered from head injury. I don't know the severity but his head was bleeding during that time.
