What amazing libraries -- I do hope they actually let people browse the stacks and read the books! Kindle will never take a book's place as far as I'm concerned, but I worry about it nonetheless.

What an interesting idea for a lens!!! I have never been to ANY of those libraries, but I lived very close to one of them for several years. Wish I had known.

Have you been to any of them? Which is your favorite? Do you have a special interest in libraries? I would like to see more of your thoughts on this lens, but I gave it 5*!

I have never been to such beautiful libraries.

The ones we have around here are more modern

and quite small compared to those.

Would love to visit some one day.

I love my library, but I never really thought about the design. I'm too focused on the books. Our community library is new, finished less than a year ago. As its less than a half mile from my home, its one of my favorite places to hang out.

      Great lens

Excellent choices. I was at Oxford University which has the Bodleian Library, which is actually several beautiful buildings. The most famous is the Radcliffe Camera, a circular building that houses the History Library. Each of the 30 colleges also has at least one library of its own, many of which are ancient and beautiful.

Awesome idea for a lens! My town's library is a Carnegie library and on the National Register of Historic Places. It was remodeled and added on to about 10 years ago using a clay tile roof, copper gutters, and mission/arts and crafts furnishings. I have a room in my house as a "library" as well. 5*

Wow! There are beautiful libraries. I have never been to the George Peabody Library even though I am just 20 minutes from Baltimore. I should go see. I wonder if it is public? I'll have to check it out. 5 stars.
