Best Beach and Yard Umbrellas for Summer

Updated on December 8, 2014

Umbrellas Provide Relief from the Sun

Beach and yard umbrellas protect you and your family from both UVA and UVB radiation. Sun umbrellas can keep you up to 10 degrees cooler on a hot day making your day at the beach or afternoon in the yard an enjoyable experience.

Living at the beach has given me the inside on the different umbrellas and I thought I would pass along some of what I have learned. I always take umbrellas to the beach and use one in our yard to enjoy sitting around the table with family and friends.

Today's sun umbrellas are lighter and easily carried to the beach. The sun umbrellas for your yard are stable and make an attractive addition to your outdoor furniture.

The older I get, the more interested I am in protecting my skin and a beach umbrella is definitely the way to go when in direct sunlight. Blessed.

I love the idea of a beach umbrella - especially when you add the little table and the towel hooks!.
