Bethel Woods Center for the Arts
One of the best concert venues in the country!
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is located in Bethel, NY.
It's a beautiful amphitheater located on the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair. You can sit in the assigned seating area, or in general admission on the lawn looking over the stage. There's plenty of room to wander the site and even go see the original place the stage sat for Woodstock. There's a huge peace sign cut into the grass where the attendees sat so many years ago, and a beautiful monument looking over the area as well.
History - Known for its musical roots.
Bethel is a town in Sullivan County, NY that became famous when it was the site for the legendary 3 Day's of Peace & Music that was the Woodstock Festival in '69, which was held on Max Yasgur's farm.
Tailgating
One of the best things about concerts at Bethel Woods is the tailgating! The parking area is huge, and hanging out with all of your friends before the show starts is so much fun. Playing games, grilling, and listening to music with everyone is a great experience. You're sure to leave Bethel with a few more friends than you had when you arrived!
