Where To Stay In Sabah
One thing that makes your travels easy is when you don't have to worry about where to stay. Sabah has many world class resorts and hotels, many located along great stretch of beaches. Karambunai Resort, Sutera Harbour, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort are all well-known internationally and well visited.
You can choose to stay in the city or choose from one of the many hotels and resorts just outside the city. You will be well taken care of.
Looking for a nice hotel but want to keep within your budget, from 3 stars to 1 star hotels are readily available. English is widely spoken, so you should set your mind at ease. Although, I have to say that the local accent might take some getting used to.
Typically, a 3 to 4 star hotel will cost about US$100. 1 to 2 star hotels cost about US$50 per night.
For even more budget friendly accommodations, Backpacker lodges and Homestays are also available at http://hotel.aboutsabah.com.
Sabah is an easy place to travel around, it isn't huge like some cities, and there are only 3 main exits out of the city. The thing that makes Sabah truly easy to travel is the friendly people here. All you got to do is ask, and many will go out of their way to help.
