Cleveland has a very diverse population, including one of the largest Hungarian populations in the world. Whatever your dining pleasure, you can find restaurants that will fill that gustatory need.

One of the most famous restaurants in Cleveland is Balaton Restaurant, a Hungarian restaurant that has been in business since 1964. However, you can find Brazilian restaurants, Creole restaurants, Japanese restaurants, and numerous other restaurants to tempt your taste buds, as well as several wonderful ethnic bakeries.

Cleveland Shopping

If you like to shop in out of the way places, or unique handmade boutiques, there are lots of fun places to spend your money in Cleveland. One of the best areas is the Shaker Square/Larchmere district on the far east side of Cleveland near the border of Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights Ohio.

You can spend the day shopping amongst the antique stores, boutiques, and the best bookstore in town, Loganberry Books, then take in a movie, and eat in a wonderful local restaurant. What a great way to spend a Saturday!

Zoo in Cleveland

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a wonderful zoo to visit all year round, with both indoor and outdoor exhibits including the Rain Forest exhibit that is completely indoors.

Families with children will find lots of interesting animals to visit, including the koalas, camels, and kangaroos in the Australian exhibit, and the wolf exhibit.
