The National Hard Crab Derby, which is held each year over Labor Day weekend, is one of the town's most popular events. Somers Cove Marina offers boaters 515 slips within walking distance to some of the Chesapeake Bay's and Somerset County’s finest restaurants, antique and gift shops, and bed and breakfast accommodations. Daily tours and sightseeing are available for Smith Island, Tangier Island, Janes Island State Park and Crisfield Heritage Museum which includes tours of the Crisfield Seafood industry.

J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake in Crisfield Maryland
Held every year on the third Wednesday in July at Somers Cove Marina in Crisfield, this annual celebration is named in honor of Crisfield native, J. Millard Tawes - the 54th Governor of the State of Maryland. This event is an outdoor all-you-can-eat affair featuring crabs, clams, fish, corn on the cob, watermelon and more.

Crisfield Waterman's Festival
The Crisfield Waterman's Festival serves steamed crabs, oysters, fried and on the half shell, fried fish, clam strips, grilled chicken and more. This October event is held on the Somers Cove Marina grounds.

Crisfield Municipal Park
In 2009 Governor Martin O’Malley announced Board of Public Works approval of land acquisition and recreational projects in Somerset County through Program Open Space.
“Through Program Open Space, we are able to fund these important projects that provide opportunities for working families to get outdoors,” said Governor Martin O’Malley. “Having a central place to recreate together ultimately creates stronger, healthier communities.”
Somerset County will receive $196,000 to construct a gazebo, creative thinking playground and three new picnic pavilions for the Crisfield Municipal Park, the first community park in Crisfield.
City of Crisfield Skipjack
One of the last remaining Chesapeake Bay skipjacks is the "City of Crisfield". The vessel has won the Deal Island Skipjack Race several times.
