What would your ultimate dream vacation be and why?

My dream vacation spot is Key West. In the picture below is Mallory Square at sunset. Every night a public party and celebration is held at Mallory Square at sunset. You have to love a place that celebrates sun sets. Where is your ultimate dream vacation spot and why. What draws you to that particular place and why would you want to spend your vacation there.

The National Geographic cruise to Antarctica. At 20k a head. Sigh. Not happening.

As for why? Because so few people get to go there, I suppose would be the easiest explanation. And I like cold places...weird as that might seem to others.

I was in Rome Italy about 30 years ago and I've always wanted to go back. To me Rome is one of the best cities in the world and I would like to spend a few months there.

While Kashmir valley is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape, Jammu's numerous shrines attract a lot of Hindu pilgrims every year. Ladakh, also known as "Little Tibet", is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and Buddhist culture. read more

My dream vacation would be Switzerland for its beautiful and serene locations. I dreamt of visiting this scenic country since childhood. Also I love to visit Italy for its vibrant culture and its pretty places.

I'm in agreement with you, it's Key West! We went on a road there a few years ago and spent a couple of days and there's so much to see and do that we can't wait to go back. Here's the thing I'd dream of doing and that's taking a winter sabatical and spending like 4 months there someone in the Keys.
