Where Will You Travel?
Planning a trip this year? Where and how will you travel?
GorillaPod - The Magnetic, Flexible, Hands-Free Tripod
If you selected "scenic spot" or "exotic location," or if a family reunion is coming up, than this gadget is what you need to take beautiful and fun photos of the scenery and special moments.
What I Love: This tripod allows you to use your camera hands-free, in all sorts of unusual places! Its flexible legs and strong magnets allow the adventurous photographer to stand it on an uneven rocky surface, or take advantage of metal sign to get the perfect 'scenic lookout' panorama. It has a slim quick-release clip that stays on your camera so that it instantly snaps to the tripod to catch that fleeting shot before it's gone. I often see fantastic shots while driving, and this tripod allows the traveler to attach a camera to the dash or mirror to capture the view as it flies by!
Telescoping tripods are a thing of the past. Mount your digital camera virtually anywhere with this flexible gadget. The feet contain super powerful neodymium magnets. I don't know exactly what kind of magnets those are, but they hold the feet securely to any metal surface, such as street signs or poles. Flexible, wrappable legs allow it to stand virtually anywhere, even upside-down!. Stretch your photographic capabilities and imagination with this ingenious little tripod.!
LaCie Fuel - Movies and media for the whole family, on the go!
Syncing enough movies to your iPad, laptop, or iPhone before you head out on vacation can be challenging, especially if your need programming for both you and the kids, too. With 1TB of storage, the Walkman-size LaCie Fuel makes it easy, simultaneously streaming more than 500 movies (or 160,000 images or 190,000 photos) to up to five devices.
What I Love: Our family enjoys watching television series at the end of, the season when they go to DVD so that we can watch straight through, if we want to. At any given time, we are in the middle of a series that we can watch with the kids, and one for the adults, only. Having multiple programs takes up a lot of space on our devices, and even our 120 GB iPad fills up quickly. This handy device solves that problem for us, housing more movies, photos, videos and tv series than we could possibly watch during our vacation. Love it!
AAXA Jr. Pico Projector - The projector that fits in your pocket!
This tiny projector is no bigger than a cell phone, yet it’s still able to project movies or vacation videos onto any flat surface in DVD-quality resolution (no HD at this size—yet). Just plug the projector into your smartphone, tablet, or PC via USB, and, presto, it’s movie time.
To complete your viewing experience, this bundle comes with a 16GB Micro SD Memory Card, a Multi Card Reader/Writer, a Flexible Tripod, Memory Card Wallet, 3pc Cleaning Kit & 3 Screen Protectors.
What I Love: Although there are cheaper versions of this item online, I really like the long battery life on this device and all of the accessories, which are worth the money. The small tripod is a handy add-on (no more stacking books or luggage to watch a movie!)
Skooba Netbook / iPad Messenger Bag - Comfortable, Durable, Waterproof Travel Bag
If you selected "business trip" in the poll, than this bag will help you to secure your important electronics and papers, and breeze through security checkpoints.
What I Love: This bag has pockets galore; 20 of them, to be exact! It has an ingenious top zipper that allows you to access the main compartment without having to put the bag down and lift the flap. This is handy for the traveler who needs to access important papers or remove electronics at security checkpoints.
The Skooba Design messenger bag sports numerous, handy pockets and organizing compartments, with separate front compartments for portable devices and gadgets, including a USB thumb drive pouch. The bag itself weights just 24 ounces, but is strong enough to hold the weight of a laptop or iPad and all the accessories. The main compartment is padded with a retention strap to keep your electronics safe. An additional large pocket holds books or files. Use it as your carry-on bag to keep all of your electronics safe, organized and handy on your next airplane trip.
Portable PowerMat - Charge Electronic Devices on the Go!
No matter where you go this summer, keep your cell phone, video games, laptop and other devices charged up and ready for use with this handy, portable charging mat.
What I Love: The PowerMat charges three devices at once, with only one outlet. It is able to charge virtually any kind of electronic device, and gadgets fitted with a reeiver charge simply by laying them on the mat (no plug-in necessary!) For the traveler, a rechargeable back-up battery provides power anywhere, even when no outlet is available.
The Portable PowerMat is a simple, quick and efficient way to keep personal electronic devices charged. It folds up small and includes a case with a magnetic lock. the mat includes three wireless charging positions, as well as one USB connector for charging a fourth gadget. When charging is complete, each charging position has individual auto power-off. The set includes a Universal Powercube with 8 interchangeable adapter tips (Mini and Micro USB, Apple, Samsung, LG, Nintendo DS Lite and DSi, and Sony PSP) to charge virtually any kind of electronic device.
Wine Skin - Bottle Transport Bag
Traveling to the wine country or an exotic location? This invention will allow you to safely transport that unique wine, delicious vanilla, tasty rum,, or whatever treasure you find so that you can enjoy it when you return home, without risking wet, ruined luggage.
What I Love: Though the TSA does not allow wine transport via carry-on, the traveler no longer has to risk ruining their wardrobe to transport the perfect bottle of wine in their suitcase. These bottle-shaped bubble-wrap bags shield bottles from breakage, and are air-tight to protect the contents of the suitcase should turbulence take its toll.
Never again worry about bottle leaks or cracs inside your luggage. The WineSkin bottle transport bag will safely and securely transport bottles, no matter how or where you travel. So easy to use and affordable, just slip your bottle inside the WineSkin and its double seals protect precious cargo and keep it intact. These bags are great for shipping, too!
