The Rooms at Harrah's

There are 662 rooms in the 21-story tower, including 104 suites. On our second night we upgraded our room to one of the 104 spacious suites, which only cost us an extra $50. (I assume the cost would be more if you upgrade on the weekend)

Each room features a 32-inch TV. The suites features 2 TVs. Each room has a large bath with a separate tub and a glass enclosed shower. In-room guest safe and high speed internet access is also included in each room.

Dry cleaning and laundry service are also available.

The Pool at Harrah's

The pool at Harrahs has a lush tropical garden complete with waterfalls and private jacuzzi-style hot tubs. The pool is surrounded by palm trees and features a water fountain. Pool side cabanas with plasma TVs are available to rent. As of June 2010, the rental fee is $250 per day on the weekend and $200 per day during the week. There are several Jacuzzis and the one with a beautiful waterfall is my personal favorite. There is a large fire-pit located between the pool and the pool side bar. There is also a poolside nightclub with a DJ every Saturday night during the summer. There are several showers located near the pool too.

Gaming at Harrah's

The hotel over 1,600 slot machines and more than 60 table games. Their World Series Poker Room has 12 tables with daily and weekly promotions. The 16 types of table games include, craps, volcanic bingo, roulette, blackjack, pai gow poker, three card poker and more.

I found the dealers to be very friendly and helpful. If you need help, just ask.

They have a new gaming table called "Blackjack Switch". I had a great time playing this game. It was easy to learn and a lot of fun. (I wrote a lens about this game.)

I enjoy staying here. Usually lose my money. One night we saw Al Green last year. The crowd was enjoying the music and I was too. Nice concert outdoors.
