How to fit more in your suitcase: The Compress and Pack System

Updated on September 5, 2014

Whether you travel a lot, or just occasionally, you will want to fit the maximum amount of items in as small a space as possible. My husband travels practically every month and he only takes carry on as he has had too many bad experiences of having his luggage lost by the airlines.

But this means he needs to fit everything in his carry on. Not a problem if he is only away for a few days and stays in the same hemisphere - but there are occasions he is gone for over 2 weeks and needs both summer and winter clothing. And recently he also need camping gear.

His solution was this product - the Compress and Pack Space Saving System.

It is amazing the tiny size you can squish a pillow to!! He managed to compress his bulky items and fit in everything he needed into his carry on suitcase.

The price you pay for this item is well worth it as it means you might be saving

  • the cost of paying for an extra bag
  • the frustration of not having everything you need while away on a trip
  • the extreme frustration of having to check luggage - and then it getting lost

Of course, this packing system is also useful for backpackers - it won't reduce the weight of your backpack but the amount of space you will free up will allow you to add in extra items.

This makes a great gift if you know people who like to hike - or people who travel frequently.

My husband and college-age son both own this - and both love it. It is sturdy, wheels well and fits a lot in it!

See how easy it is to use compression sacks.

How often do you travel?

Haha - sounds like what my one son would do!! I did send him with one of these the last time he traveled. I figured it would help him fit in the extra purchases on his return journey.

This was an interesting hub MeryIV, I travel frequently and absolutely hate packing. I normally just take a backpack/carry on and just purchase anything else needed when I get to my destination. Thumbs up on your hub.
