Photo Peek of the Marriott Aruba Surf Club
Photos of Marriott's Aruba Beach Resort at Palm Beach
I spent 4 hours on Aruba in April, 2012. It was a port-of-call when we cruised the Panama canal. We took an excursion for a day at the beach.
Wandering around we found the tour bus deposited us next to the Marriott Aruba Vacation Club. Since we have a Marriott timeshare we checked the grounds out for a possible stay one day.
It would be good reference for other timeshare members or our family for their future vacation choices.
Enjoy the Marriott's Surf Club photos. I hope they may help your decision making, as well.
Photos of the Marriott Vacation Club
There are no surprises at this Marriott Surf Club. The grounds were nicely manicured and not over done.
It is located on Palm Beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
The Island Has a Prevailing Breeze
Our bus tour guide informed us that Aruba has a daily prevailing breeze. Take note of the palm tree. There are three towers like this one on the Marriott grounds.
Aruba Is Like a Desert Island
Here is another example of the breeze that comes up every day on the island. The tree center left is the divi-divi, it is usually seen blown on its side from the trade winds. The island is only 20 miles long.

I did not know exactly where Aruba was until we cruised by. It is about 15 miles from Venezuela.
Nuevo Vallarta - Mexican Beach Resort
Get all the same amenities as the Marriott Vacation Clubs at the Playa del Palmar resorts in Mexico. This excellent resort is part of Interval International.
Going to Give Aruba a Whirl?
The Marriott Grounds
The Marriott grounds are very basic, nothing fancy or lush. It is immaculately clean and every thing is in its place. Very much like the other Marriott resorts I have stayed at. Remember these photos are from the very end of the season. The beach umbrellas all had reversed signs and they are placed very close together. I can imagine this resort is very popular at high season.

I hope this photo gallery of the Marriott in Aruba is of some help to you.
Thank you for the tour of Marriott's Surf Club! We have never vacationed in Aruba. We have been satisfied Marriott Vacation Club Owners for almost 25 years, but have mostly traveled to their properties within the U.S. (In fact, one of my newest lenses is a brief overview of 10 different Marriott Villas we have visited in Florida.) Thanks again for the photo tour - I enjoyed it!
Hey, if you plan to stay there I discover that they have pretty cool video tools to see a little bit how Aruba looks like and is there to do!you can check their video at this address:
Ooooh swanky. I'd love a trip to this place. Simply lovely.
Where is Aruba?
great looking photos...makes me want to go on vacation right now!
I think it would be a great place for a vacation in the winter.
BUT it is in Aruba. Sounds like a pretty nice trip.
Breathtaking pictures of Aruba, I'd love to visit
Beautiful photographs. Marriott in Aruba reminds me of a Marriott in my city having similarities in outside looks minus the beach in front. Thanks for sharing photographs.
