What Is The Nigerian e-Passport Application Process?
December 31st 2010, heralded a new era in the the West African e-passport vis-à-vis the Nigerian e-passport, as the deadline for the use of the Old Nigerian Machine Readable Passport (MRP Passport) came into effect.
This implied that anyone who travelled back to Nigeria from any foreign base/Country on the old MRP passport would not be able to fly back to their base abroad without being in possession of the e-passport.
For all Nigerians based in the Republic of Ireland, the 10th of November 2010 marked a new revelation, as the new e-passport machines have been installed and fully tested.
However, the problem most visitors to the site have reported is that there is no navigation from the site to where they would be able to fill in the forms. So I am going to give you a stepwise direction on how to fill in the new e-passport forms.
For your convenience, you can print out a copy of the e-passport registration form, but please note that ALL the processes for the e-passport are done ONLINE. This form is only to help you determine the details to fill into the online form.
Before you proceed to fill the Nigerian Immigration e-Passport Application Form for the e-passport, it is very important that you go through this check-list to know if you have all the requirements necessary to enable you obtain the e-passport.
