What a journey to relocate as an official transient..........

Updated on August 4, 2011

The next chapter is a long one

Been a little busy this last year riding the wave to my next chapter, relocating as an official transient in Geneva Switzerland. Sorry for the gap in writing. Long story short- some things cannot be revealed but I can say it has been the wildest ride so far, full of twists and turns, challenges and stresses, and all too much excitement at times and this is just the beginning. Everything I have lived and learned so far were just practice for this. All the pieces are finally fitting nicely. Great job, great colleagues, living and exploring in Europe.

A person asked me while hiking in France with a group, where was I from? It started me thinking, WHAT was my answer? Indiana was where I was raised as a displaced person, Hawaii is my adopted home but just came from living 3 years in New Zealand, now Geneva but only for another 1 1/2 years...then who knows........ How do you explain this to people?

I decided that I am an Official Transient, much more rewarding and productive that homeless. Doug, my husband has retired after many years of routine employment to join me, does that make us an official transient couple? Life has been so exciting that we both forgot our anniversary, we were busy exploring Lyon France, celebrating without even knowing it. I guess you really know you are married it you stop noticing the anniversaries.
