Osaka Free Sky View
Japan has many wonderful views that can be enjoyed for free. Many of the popular tourist areas have paid viewing platforms on top of large buildings. However there are many building views that can be accessed for free. It can be a fun game to discover where they are. Kyoto Station is another good one.
In my opinion the best free view in Osaka is from the toilet of the World Trade Centre building in Nanko Chuo. Just a few levels higher there’s a full 360 degree view at the top of the tower for 500 yen. The World Trade Centre is located near Osaka bay. On a clear day it’s possible to see Kansai Airport in the south, as well as Wakayama, and Awaji Island. Kobe city to the west and Rokko Mountain in the north can also clearly be seen. To the west the shopping districts of Umeda, Nanba and the entire city of Osaka is clearly visible the way to Ikoma Mountain where the city ends.
To access the free toilet view, simply ride the lift up to the restaurant near the top of the building. When you exit the lift the restaurant will be one level further up, accessed by a staircase. The toilet is located near the entrance to the lift. Just follow the signs. Have your camera ready to record the breathtaking view. This toilet is seldom used, so I even managed to have a peek of the view from the ladies toilet.

How To Get There
To get here ride the subway to Trade Center Mae station. When you exit the station you will see the world trade center building stand out among the other smaller buildings. Just walk towards it, take the lift from the large foyer on the ground level.
