My Trip to The Block At Orange

My Trip To The Block At Orange - Orange, Orange County, California

The Block At Orange is an outdoor mall with a mix of stores, restaurants, movie theaters, and entertainment. The Block At Orange is located just a few miles from Disneyland in the city of Orange, in Orange County, California. Here is a review of my recent visit to The Block At Orange, with photos included.

Dinner at Johnny Rockets

My visit started off with a meal at Johnny Rockets. It's a cool little hamburger/fries/shake type diner that reminds me of a 50's diner. They had little jukeboxes on each table and if you deposited a nickel you could request a song. The waitress were friendly, the food was good for your typical burger meal, and the tab for the 4 of us was less than $30.00. A fun fact....when "Twist and Shout" played over the speakers all the waitresses stop what they were doing and did "the twist" in the middle of the diner. (See photo below)

Dave & Busters

After dining at Johnny Rockets, we headed over to Dave & Busters where we drank beers and played games for tickets. My favorite game is the "Deal or No Deal" game. I won a ton of tickets on that game, which I turned in for a free Dave & Busters sweartshirt. (See photo below). I'd also like to note that I came in first place out of 6 people in the basketball shoot game...lol. The guys took the loss hard :) It was a lot of fun playing some of the old school games like Ms Pac Man, Galaxy, and Donkey Kong.
