Updated on August 29, 2016

Travel Pillows-Comfortable Support Pillows

I had a bad car accident a couple of decades ago and the comfort of a neck pillow has been very important to me. I injured my neck and ever since that time I have trouble getting comfortable with regular bed support. I also travel on airplane quite a bit for long distances. I found a pillow that give me comfort while giving support and stress relief which are better than bed support. There are many different kinds of support and found the one that was right for me. There are memory foam, water and bead filled choosing one that is perfect is easy.

When I sleep I needs to have a cool pillow as well as neck support and comfort. I found the water cooling pillow gives me support I need as well as cooling comfort. It is important for me to get a good night sleep without neck pain and discomfort. To choose the perfect airplane pillow for comfort and stress relief first determine which part of the neck you need to support. An airplane pillow will give you the desired support you need, if you have specific needs some support may be better than others. If you also want a cooling effect you need to get a gel or water filled one. It is important to support the head while sleeping. Improper support can cause tiredness, aches and pains in the morning. The importance of good support and stress relief should not be overlooked.

Improper support causes neck pain as well as other areas of discomfort. The proper neck pain or airplane pillow will relieve stress by properly supporting those small muscles and bones. I noticed neck pain relief the first time I used my new pillow. Find a neck support pillow recommended for neck pain relief and stress relief by carefully reading the recommendations given for each one. There are many great styles to choose from and when you do you won't want to be without it.

Choosing the right pillow is a personal decision and this selection will help you determine which is best for you. I personally like to keep an assortment of pillows available and rotate them depending upon the kind of support I need.

Neck Pain Exercises - They really help

If you have pain or stress in your neck exercise can help to strength the small muscles that support your head. I have been doing these exercise to improve and strength my neck muscles. Since starting them I have noticed quite a bit of improvement. I used to have chronic pain and no longer experience this discomfort since exercising regularly. There are many different way to treat back problems.

I have found that the routine my doctor prescribed for me has worked better than any medication. They added strength of my muscles prevents the fatigue I once had. I now use neck pain support, exercise my neck and live a healthy live. These things have changed the way I feel everyday. I also use my pillows and my support pillow to prevent any further injury or neck alignment issues. I find the travel pillows have also improved my attitude toward traveling and prevent neck pain at the same time.

Combining these simple exercises with a neck support has changed the way I sleep. I am more rested as well as comfortable while I sleep. I have also found that my neck remains in proper alignment of my spine. My neck is kept in a good position during my sleep.

Memory foam. Thanks for gathering these products together. I, too, had a car accident 30 years ago and it still gives me grief once in a while.

I Use the Arc4life traction pillow- especially the support roll side of the pillow. It works great for me. This pillow is not too firm- its just right and helps align the neck and shoulders

I use a soft pillow. Some how I am very particular about my pillow that's why I find it difficult to sleep when I am not at home.

I use a therapeutic pillow my chiropractor got me several years ago, and it's wearing out. Need a new one, so thanks for the options. Going to try the neck exercises too, can't reach my hands together behind my head though.
