Siem ReapTown is the gateway to Angkor and where you will stay during your visit to Angkor Wat. This region has been receiving foreign visitors to the temples for over one hundred years. At Present tens of thousands of visitors daily. Siem Reap is a well-known and active province of Cambodia. And now, being a famous tourist goal that has a great number of hotels and restaurants.

The easiest ways to move around in Siem Reap is very good, you can go by Tuk Tuk, cab, motorcycle and also bicycle. Nowadays, Siem Reap is a best-known and quickest growing city and provides a wide range of hotels, pubs, restaurants, and shops accepting several upscale hotels and dozens of budget guesthouses. So, we can say that there is nothing to be care about for staying and eating in Siem Reap. The province of Siem Reap is piece of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve.

And most tourists travel to Siem Reap to visit the Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, (about six km north of the city). Angkor Wat (Wat temple) is the central feature of the Angkor UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the magnificent remains of the Khmer civilization. Angkor wat is the primary place to visit in Siem Reap, but not only that, you can visit thousand of temples that located in all the place of Cambodia.

Bayon temple is another well-known temple in Siem Reap province of Cambodia. It was builded around 1190 AD by King Jayavarman VII. If you travel to Angkor wat you will be able to see Bayon temple easily because it is built-up north to Angkor wat temple closely. Bayon temple is powerfully refered to the god with four faces that opposite to each direction with smiles. Some think the smiling icon represents Jayavarman himself. And in BayonTemple you can find more than two hundred faces with fifty-four towers (one tower with four faces).

Siem Reap today, being a popular tourist destination. With the best looking and great architecture of Angkor wat, reaching this temple appeals a lot of tourists every years, being a famous tourist destination and make Siem reap become the most magnetic town and place in Cambodia for everybody who want to enjoy their travelling in Cambodia.
