Crop Circles and why I love them

Updated on September 11, 2014

Ancient Mysteries, Modern Messages

Crop Circles have fascinated me for many years. As a young girl, I would read articles and books on the unexplained and pour over the pictures of crop circles for hours, wondering how they mysteriously appeared over a few hours in the middle of the night. It was with great delight that I booked myself on a High Priesthood workshop and pilgrimage to Stonehenge, Avebury and Glastonbury in 2005, knowing that a highlight for me, would be visiting the crop circles in the area. To say that the tour did not disappoint, would be the understatement of the century!

Despite having been to Stonehenge before, it was my first time to the rest of the sacred sites and Glastonbury and I was not prepared for the intense inner journey that I would go on, nor the life changing impact that it would have on me. The first time I walked into a crop circle, I could feel the sudden shift in energy and the feeling of joy that spread through me hasn´t changed all these years later. I met my life partner on that trip and we have been back to the area many times to explore the mysteries and magic further. We were in a crop circle in 2009, when I received a strong message that it was time to create Spiritual Quest Journeys an idea that I had kept on the back burner for over 15 years.

There are many reports of miracles and instant healing from people that have visited crop circles; tales of unexplained balls of light; stories of pilots flying over the fields at first light and then seeing a fully formed huge crop circle a short while later in the same field on their return flight. What ever you choose to believe, one thing is for certain: the longer you look into the world of crop circles, the more you realise that they are an unexplained phenomenon.

Crop Circles: Crossovers from Another Dimension - uploaded on Youtube by UFOTVstudios

Discover the hidden secrets of a timeless mystery in this award winning film about the greatest Crop Circle formations ever created. The creators of these paranormal formations still remain a mystery. After years of painstaking research, scientific evidence still points to alien influences that are responsible for this phenomena. One thing is certain, what you are about to see in this amazing film can only be described as miraculous evidence of a secret art form that continues to defy explanation. Amongst many other experts, Glenn Broughton, one of the journey leaders on the upcoming Spiritual Quest Journeys crop circle tour, is interviewed on the subject.

Are Crop Circles man made or truly an unexplained phenomenon? - Crop Circles have appeared in 29 countries around the world

Crop circles are huge formations containing sacred geometry that appear mysteriously in the space of a couple of hours, usually during the night and are still an unexplained phenomenon. The formations themselves are beautiful in their complexity and design and most are so huge that you can only really make out the pattern from the air. To date, there have been over 10 000 formations recorded in 29 countries around the world (over 6 000 have been investigated and documented) and have appeared in crop fields, trees, sand, snow and ice, where the landscape lends itself to being a huge canvas. These days, the majority of crop circle formations appear in the crop fields in the magical Wiltshire area in Southern England. Many experts believe that this is due to the sacred sites in the area, including: Stonehenge; Avebury; West Kennet Long Burrow and Silbury Hill.

Although some crop circles are man made, there remains a genuine unexplainable phenomenon of how these patterns are formed and what they mean. There are some clues as to knowing you are in an authentic crop circle formation: The stalks are bent at 90 degree angles, around an inch above the soil; the stalks are laid in precise geometric swirl patters; there is little sign of physical damage in the formation and around it; there are small burn marks at the base of the stalk, at the first node where the node has blown. Scientific evidence has also shown that the cellular structure, soil chemistry and electromagnetic field has been altered. To me, some of the most compelling evidence is the ghost image of a past formation that you can see from the air in a crop field that has no formation in the current year.

I have watched many crop circle documentaries that would have you believe that every crop circle formation is man made. If so, then my question is simple - why have these hoaxes not been able to recreate the more complex patterns? In the few cases where they have made formations, the designs are fairly simple and it is very evident that people have gone in and out of the field (even if they use the tram lines)

The energy you feel when you enter an authentic crop circle is quite incredible. Many people have reported instant healing, deep meditations and revelations after visiting crop circles and some have experienced unexplained sightings like balls of light.

This is a picture I took last year from a microlight whilst we were flying over the area to view crop circle formations. As you can see the crop field did not have a crop circle formation in it at this time and yet you can clearly make out the pattern left from the previous year.

Not sure what to think of crop circles, but they are many detailed designs that would take more than a bunch of kids to pull off.

I have been on a spiritual journey the past few years but mine has been via the internet. I was struggling with the death debate. Someone told me that when you die that is it. You are gone. I couldn't accept that. I started my search on the laws of energy and the things I have learned since have brought a wholeness to my life. These crop circles make me want to look into this spiritual quest further to see where they may fit in. Great lens. Thanks for posting.

Great lens. I really can't buy into the idea that two elderly Brits are flying around the World in a Santa like manner creating intricate and mathematically balanced impressions in fields. There are efforts with varying degrees of success to deduce a mathematical code from these formations. Built with intelligent intent? I think so. Is that intelligence Human? I am not at all sure that is the case. Love your "Spiritual Quest Journeys" travel agency.
