Which are the famous and best restaurants in London?

A brief review on some top restaurants in London

One of the top restaurant in London to dine in is the Langtry Restaurant, it is located in Knightsbridge. It is a beautiful restaurant which is full of history. It is a part of Cadogan Hotel, this type of hotel-restaurant system works very well and this system has been used by a large number of hotels and restaurants around the world. Langtry restaurant provides a intimate and warm setting with foods which are yummy and delicious.

Indigo is the second popular restaurant located in Convent Garden which is right in middle of London. It's an informal restaurant which has a relaxed atmosphere and inspired but modern European menu.

The next one is the Tamarind Restaurant which is for those who want to experience glamour of India which is mixed with 60s modernism but in a balanced way. Tamarind is located in Mayfair. Tamarind provides high-class and high-standard food and beverages with high prices too.

Artisan Restaurant located in Mayfair is another extravaganza with London's cosmopolitan atmosphere. This restaurant is elegantly designed with beautiful dark wood features and chandeliers.

The last restaurant which I would like to mention is the Pissaros. Pissaros entertains both children and adults, and is located right on Thames river.

When you will enter this restaurant first, it has somewhat of a pub-type feeling, but best seats are available out on the conservatory.

Very nice hub...but, keep going. You haven't mentioned the very many more top London restaurants, yet. Even though, every one of us has it own preferences, which only increases the varieties for us to choose.

I also like the old Rules restaurant in Covent Garden, which is the oldest London restaurant, and there are hundreds more. Keep going, please.

Great information! Will definitely want to go to Pissaros and look at the river. For another restaurant with a view take a look at my recommendation here http://hubpages.com/travel/London-Three-Great-Days...  enjoy!

Solar, nice to know about Old Rules...the oldest! Wow! In London, that's really saying a lot!

Oh, the photos below the comments....what's the restaurant in the bottom photo? Looks like a winner!

Thanks for the restaurant tips.....a few good choices there!! A site that I've found very useful is http://www.bestlondonrestaurants.co.uk which offers a huge choice of restaurants all across London, but also lets you book them online with real-time availability. It's free and easy to use and you get an instant confirmation so you know your table is booked.

My tips for some great restaurants would be St John in Smithfield Market, Moro in Farringdon or Racine in Knightsbridge.

Enjoy!!
