I am a missionary (Our Ministry website)and Pastor in Mexico City, Mexico since 1986. (to contact me by email, click "contact" under our photo).
I am originally from Charleston South Carolina, and I attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, and have a B.A. in Christian Missions, a M.A. in Bible, and a M.S. in Educational Administration and Supervision.
To describe myself I would consider that first and foremost, I am a Christian because I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, where I trust in his work on the Cross of Calvary to save my soul from the consequences of my sins. That part is just the "extra". The best part though is knowing Christ.(2) I consider myself a Fundamentalist, in that there are essentials doctrines which are central to Scripture and salvation, and we cannot "give in" on these at all. (3) I am separated both from worldliness, and those who would compromise on the fundamentals. (4) I would also consider myself as independent, local church (emphasizing) Baptist. I do not think all Baptists are right, and I would see some Bible churches as essentials having the right stuff also. I am not Baptist bride, and I am not that kind of Baptist that ignores the sins and errors of others because they use the label "Baptist".
