Michael Burke is an educator, coach, and outdoor enthusiast. He has taught at the elementary, middle school, and high school level for since 1992. He has coached track and softball for many years during this time. Integral to his coaching philosophy is the use of strength training.
Many of his ideas are a result of his personal experiences, but he credits much of his knowledge to the many conversations he has had with other coaches, parents, and educational colleagues. Officiating high school football has been a large part of his life since he began his teaching career. This has provided a valuable perspective into athletics.
Michael enjoys the outdoors and finds great joy in hunting upland birds and various large game. Living a healthy lifestyle through excercise and proper nutrition is important to him. His greatest pleasure is spending time with his wife and two daughters.
