Edinburgh Zoo Walking On Broken Glass
Walking on Broken Glass
Edinburgh Zoo has put plans of a firewalk behind them this year. To be different volunteers will be walking on broken glass. All in the name of charity of course.
It is hoped that around 60 people will put a brave foot forward and walk barefoot along a twenty foot path of shards of glass to raise money for zoo conservation and education projects. It is hoped that each of the brave contestants will raise sponsorship money to a minimum of £150. The combined cash should make a sizeable difference.
This is definitely a fundraiser with a difference. It is hoped that there are no injuries.

Projects around the World
Zoos around the world do their best to come up with original ideas not only to promote their work but to raise funds so that they can do more.
There are good zoos and bad zoos. The bad ones are only concerned about how much cash they can put into their pockets. For the good zoos, and Edinburgh figures prominently amongst these, every aspect of their work is a science. Fund raising allows Edinburgh Zoo to continue its good work, not only in Scotland, but in financing projects around the world.
