Free Handbag Patterns To Knit
Women love handbags or purses.
Well actually I can only speak for myself and my female friends and relatives.
I personally need a handbag with me at all times and just about every where I go. I tend to carry an array of items that I simply can't live without. A survival kit of sorts.
When my children were very young I also carried a survival kit for them as well. At that time the bigger the bag the better. And now even though my kids are grown I still need a large bag.
I simply don't know how some women carry a tiny little handbag. I wish I could, but alas, I can't seem to fit everything I carry in one of those tiny bags.
Pom Pom Hobo Super Sloutch
Pom Pom Hobo Super Slouch Handbag
I must admit that I am partial to slouchy handbags and this one is packed with style.
This handbag is a quick and easy project to do with self striping yarn. Using the colors of your choice to add texture. It can also be made with your very own scrap yarns as well as the yarn recommended.
It is made using the simple knit in the round method and then a no sew rectangular base is added by using a simple trick that the designer shows you. The design also features screw-on, reusable handles for simplicity. To finish the project, the pompoms are added as touch of whimsy,
The pom poms are optional of course. With or with out the pop poms, it is still a very cute bag. The bag is then lined and the tutorial will help with that as well.
