The Supplies You Will Need To Make This DIY Valentine Bear
To make this easy craft project, the Valentine's Day Teddy Bear, you will need:
- A cardboard craft roll - or cut down the cardboard roll from paper towels
- Brown, Red, and Beige construction paper
- A pencil
- A black pen
- A pair of scissors
- A hot glue gun and some glue sticks
Step 1: Gather All Your Crafting Supplies and Read All The Directions!
Step 2: Wrap some brown construction paper around the cardboard craft roll and glue it in place.
Step 3: On the piece of brown construction paper that is left draw the head, the torso, and the circular ears of a bear. Take a look at the picture to see exactly how to do this.
Step 4: Cut out the bear figure drawn on the brown construction paper.
Step 5: Cut a oblong shape from the beige construction paper. Make it a medium size. Glue the oblong shape on the lower part of the bear's face. This is going to be his snout.

Step 6: Cut a small heart shape from the red construction paper. This is going to be your bear's nose. Glue the heart shape at the top of his snout.
Step 7: Go back to your beige construction paper and cut two small circles. Glue these at the top of the snout on each side...these are going to be your bear's eyes.

Step 8: Take your black pen and draw some details on the bear's face. You can draw the mouth, the eyeballs, and any other details you think would look good. Check the pictures to see what I drew.
Step 9: Get the red construction paper and cut two medium heart shapes out. Glue them to the middle of the ears.
Step 10: Next cut out a red bow shape, make it a medium size. Cut a small beige oblong shape out of the beige construction paper. Glue the beige oblong shape to the middle of the red bow. Now get your hot glue gun and glue the red bow to the middle of the bear's neck.

Step 11: Center your Teddy Bear on the cardboard craft roll and hot glue it in place. Make sure you center your bear
Step 12: Cut a big red heart from the red construction paper.
Step 13: Using the hot glue gun, glue the heart shape in the front of your Teddy Bear. Center the heart in the front of your cardboard craft roll.

Step 14: Cut 2 arms with hands from the brown construction paper. If you are not comfortable just cutting the shapes you need, draw them onto the paper and cut on the lines.
Step 15: Hot glue one arm on each side of the bear's body. Place them so they are hugging the body. Once again, check the picture to see where they should be placed They should look like they are holding the heart.
