How to Make Homemade Powder Laundry Soap
Easy Homemade Soap Recipe
A lot of people are looking for alternatives to soaps and cleaners that they can make at home, for a fraction of the cost of buying them in the store.
There are a lot of liquid laundry soap recipes out there, but I was looking for a powder recipe that didn't require make 5 gallons at a time.
I found one that I absolutely love ! It's so easy, and uses the same ingredients as many of the liquid recipes. Just with a twist.
Here's what you need:
2 bars Fels Naptha bar soap
2 cups Arm and Hammer Washing Soda
1 cup Borax
Cheap Powder Laundry Soap
The first thing you want to do is grate the Fels Naptha bar soap into shredded pieces. .
Now you do not have to use the Fals Naptha soap. You can substitute your favorite bar soap, and it works just as well.
Next you mix together your washing soda and Borax in a large bowl.
Add your grated soap to the bowl. Store in an air tight container.
Use 2 tablespoons at a time, for really heavy soiled laundry use 3 tablespoons.
