Thank you, Mhatter99. I was surprised when I saw that De Niro appeared in nearly 100 films, didn't expect that. I chose about 50 of his more well known films for the hub.

That De Niro-- he's a scary guy. One of his best performances was in Godfather II where the story in a story really, really works. But he's had so many great movies. I'll have to see Brazil again. Another great set of posters, Steve.

Thanks David, he was indeed a scary guy even in his comedies! :) Brilliant actor, you can see him grow older and older in each poster, he looks like me old dad in those last few posters. :)

I'm curious to see Mad Dog and Glory again, in that film Bill Murray was the scary gangster and De Niro was the meek hero!

Robert......The REAL film love of my life.....I've seen them all, Steve, at least once......He scared the $HHH out of me in Cape Fear.......made me cry in Awakenings.......and laugh, in Analyze This.......there's one missing, Steve....I suppose it wasn't a really big splash of a movie, but FUNNY as hell........He and Sean Penn in "We're No Angels." Did you see it? Hilarious!...............This is a great group of posters!!! My favorite.

Thanks Paula, much appreciated. I had to leave a few films out and that was one of them, if it had a really good movie poster I might have included it. :)

I didn't know De Niro had made so many films, busy fellow. I thought this was going to be a smaller hub than usual, it wasn't. I may do a part 2 next year and include all the movies I've left out. :)

Thanks for posting.

What ever happened to Robert DeNiro? I remember when he was considered to be a great actor....but over the last 20 years his has lost that title with some performances in some pretty bad movies.

What ever happened to the DeNiro/Scorsese films? How did Leo push Bob from that Scorsese spot? Does DeNiro ever say no to a movie offer as it seems he has a new movie about once every two months. Freelancers? RedLights? Being Flynn? his last three movies made about $14.32 combined at the box office.

Ok enough of the DeNiro bashing.....his early career was so great...you have to give the guy a break for his latter part of his career....The Deer Hunter, Taxi Driver, Godfather Part 2, Heat, Raging Bull, Mean Streets and Good Fellas are my favorites of his that everybody else loves as well.

While...King of Comedy, Midnight Run, Brazil and Once Upon A Time in America(the long version) are ones I love that do not seem to get enough notice. Nice addition to your hub series. Voted up and across the board.

Thanks Bruce, your comment is appreciated. I was expecting you to list all the 40+ De Niro films I left out of the hub. [wink]

I totally agree, he doesn't seem to care what he appears in now, his greatest films were a long time ago.

He and Pacino should make one more film together and call it Grouchy Old Method Actors.

Highest rated film on the page is The Godfather II followed by Goodfellas, lowest rated is Godsend.

Thanks for posting and voting.
