Gazebo Photo Gallery: Pictures of Shinn Park in Fremont, California
Gazebo photography at Shinn Historical Park and Gardens
I visit Shinn Historical Park and Gardens in Fremont Ca. pretty regularly. It's one of our families favorite places to just go and hang out. Although located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, the park is a real get away from the SF Bay Area city life.
I also take great pride in introducing new people to my "favorite" and "secret" spot. The nice thing about Shinn Park is that it's very quiet with few visitors. As the seasons change and new improvements are always being made, it's the perfect opportunity to take photos and enjoy the changing colors.
One day as I was sitting in the newly built gazebo towards the side of the property, it dawned on me that from every angle that I looked out there was a very different scene. It was like viewing a different picture frame through each side of the gazebo. Creative juices flowing, I thought it would be interesting to take photos of each "frame" of the 8 sided gazebo, along with a photo of the as yet unfinished gazebo peak.
Below are all the photos that I took of the gazebo at Shinn Historical Park and Gardens. The site was one of the first commercial nurseries in California so there are many plants still growing there from the Far East and other exotic locations. The gazebo is always a favorite spot to sit and watch the changing views during the different times of the year.
For more information on Shinn park in Fremont California I have included links below with more history about the park and gardens. There is also a map with directions on how to get to Shinn Park. This is a must see if you visit the San Francisco Bay Area. And BTW, don't tell anyone about our secret spot, K?
