Things I have sold with Zazzle
My art has sold with Zazzle!
Selling ones own artwork is probably as exciting or more exciting then creating the art in the first place. I have not been designing art and trying to sell it for a year yet and still I have managed a few sales. I would love to show off those designs that have sold because I am really proud each and every sale.
Selling art as an artist is a very daunting prospect, usually we are artists not marketers and I suppose that is why so many artists struggle financially, it is just a different thing to get the word out on new art and artists.
Zazzle creates a very unique and amazing platform for an artist to show case their art on an extensive range of products that people can and do buy. The more time I spend with zazzle the more I love it!
Just a day an a half ago I sold 2 matching items, somewhere in Illinois a matching set of keychain and tote bag is likely going to be a christmas present for someone.
Just recently we were given a few new items to put our designs on, iPhone cases and iPad cases. I sold one of those within a day or two of being able to publish designed iStuff.
Publishing Art on Zazzle
If you have already had a look at the images of items I have sold in the slide show you can see that the items do look pretty good with my designs. If you have not had a good look at the slide show I urge you to do so, I am very proud of these sales.
Creating these items has been a very easy and fun job, more like a fun hobby really. Where it has felt more like work is in the efforts I have lately put in to promote my stuff. I probably would not need to worry about it if I was not worried about how long it takes for people to find my works, I would just push on making more art for designing products. My family has gotten really excited and insisted we start making sites to display my works and speed up the process of people finding me.
The process of creating the products is pretty easy. I started using the quick create tool with zazzle and find that it takes far less time to get each design on a large enough range of items that I stand a chance of being seen when a person does a search for this or that. I wonder why I didn't use that tool sooner! It makes the posting to zazzle so much faster, meaning I can get back to my art!
One of my favorite art styles lately is my fractal art. I have a range of fractal hearts that look really fab on the new iPhone and iPad cases. If you want to check out my fractal hearts or any of my other art please feel free to do so, my store is KirstenStar. I should mention that if you were to fall in love with one of my designs and wanted to see it on an item type at zazzle that I have not published yet, feel free to contact me with a request. I would be more then happy to publish an item type just so you can see it, and see what it would look like.
