Very Talented Person in Building Miniature

Updated on April 2, 2012

I will never get bored to say that I love art. The beautiful of art came from various shape. An art not always a painting and sculpture but all the things which wonderful shape and we enjoy it, this one of the criteria of art. Now I'll write about another art shape. I think we all familiar with this name. "Miniature", something small but makes curious. Only people who have the sense of art and high patience can make a beautiful miniature.

Another factor is how we presented a large object into smaller objects with a certain scale. Determining the appropriate scale is one important factor in making miniature. In the art lesson there is a something that make us interesting, this is a "focus of interest". This make people or person attract with this art. In making miniature we also consider this side, how people are interested to see the result of the art work.

Back to the topic, I'll show about very talented person in making miniature. His name is Matthew Albanese. He was interested in photography since high school. then continued his study of art and focuses on photography. He produce many art work which categorized miniature. By processing the excellent images, he also produced very beautiful art.

We can find how the beautiful of his art work. Those are looks real. I also enclose his beautiful art work below. All images below are the work of Matthew Albanese, a photographer and also a miniature landscape artist. He is a creator of the universe object in small shape. Using scale 500 times, with a strong perspective make all images look very real.

Matthew using small-scale construction and very carefully. He also uses a variety of materials and objects to create an emotional landscape. Every aspect of starting construction until the lighting has been planned very carefully before using the method of perspective emphasizes when photographed from a certain angle.
Using a mixture of photographic techniques such as scale, depth of field, color balance and lighting, he can change the appearance of miniature creations become real

Tornado

We can't imagine that this beautiful tornado made by steel wool, cotton, parsley (leaf soup), and moss. We can see how he made the real tornado. If we don't read this hub and just see the picture this is probably actually a real tornado.

Volcano

This creation remembering me about the "Volcano" movie. With "Pierce Brosnan" as an actor. But actually this volcanic landscape was made by tiles grout, cotton and phosphorus ink, lighting using 6 x 60 watt bulb.

The burning room

The first time I saw this picture, all the ornament like the barbie house. Of course. because all theĀ  material using wood, nylon, glass and furnitures for doll houses. With a little input from the fireman to reduce the flood of fire, resulting more realistic model. And I think it like the real burning room.

The scenery after the storm

The grass field in this miniature landscape was made of fake fur, the clouds made by cotton wool and the mountains are made of tiles spesisemen which sifted.

Mars Surface

Albanes was not intentionally creating miniature of mars surface. Because he spilled paprika powder in front of the studio. When he was cleaning it ,he's interested in color and texture, which reminded him about mars landscape. He use 12 pounds (5.5 kg) of paprika powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, chili powder and charcoal to make the beautiful of mars surface

Landing on the moon

Albanes need two months to collect ashes of the fireplace in creating the moon landscape. dark-colored rocks were made of ceramic dust mixture, the flag was made of folded paper and wire. While images of the earth taken from the video projection was reflected to the wall.

Waterfalls

The scenery of this waterfall was made of glass, flexyglass, ceramic debris, moss, twigs, salt, painting canvases. Waterfalls were created from a sprinkling of salt.
