Crochet Some Sparkly Earrings With A Pendant To Match Any Outfit!

Threadies (you know who you are!) get ready to go stash diving in your crochet thread, embroidery flosses, and so forth because we're going to crochet some pretty earrings together!

How much fun is it to make earrings (and a pendant too, if you like) to match any special outfit! You can crochet up these earrings and have them put together in under an hour and be ready to show off your new sparkles!

I chose to add a huge Swarovski crystal for the pendant and some crystal pieces I cut off an old piece of jewelry to my earrings to give them that touch of sparkle. Of course you can choose any gemstone or crystal bead to accent your earrings.

No complicated jewelry making skills are required. I'll give you YouTube tutorials to show you how to open and close jump rings, which is the only skill needed.

So pick your favorite color of thread and let's crochet! How many color combinations can you imagine!

What You Will Need

Very small amount of crochet thread of choice (I used Perle Cotton for the blue & purple earrings, and Lizbeth size 20 crochet cotton for the white pair).

Crochet hook desired size - I used Clover Soft Touch 8

Two earring findings - lever back, fish hook, or post with hanging loop

Six jump rings

Round nose pliers - 2

Clear nail polish

A Word About Yarn & Thread Selection...

You may use different yarns such as scrap yarns or threads with good results! Just make sure to keep them similar in weight and thickness so as not to throw off the pattern.

Let's Make The Magic!

About The Crystal

There's more than one way to attach your crystal(s). You can crochet it in as you work the first round; you can tie it on with sewing thread like you would sew on a button. You can secure it with a piece of wire. You can glue it in place.

A Note From Your Designer...

Hi, I'm SheilaSchnauzies, also published as SheilaSparkles, and my life's passion is designing in Crochet! I also love to share gifts with friends, and this pattern is my gift to you! I give away about 95% of my pattern designs free. The other 5% are sold on my pattern store at Craftsy.com to benefit the vet expenses of my Miniature Schnauzer Rescue, Sheila's Schnauzies.

Just one little favor, please... I would appreciate it if you do not post this pattern anywhere on the Internet or in the 'real world.' Instead, you are most welcome to provide a link to this webpage.

I use a system I call the "Official Schnauzer Difficulty Rating" just for fun, to rate the difficulty of my patterns. If it's a 3/5 or more, I'll explain why I consider it more difficult. A few of my designs use techniques that are a bit unconventional! If it's one of those patterns, I'll warn you ahead of time. I do a lot of custom-fit patterns, for example. They are made to fit YOU, not a measurement from a chart. They're surprisingly easy to do and actually end up fitting. That's a good thing, yes?

So glad you found my patterns! I hope you really enjoy making whatever it is you're making! Crochet hugs, -Sheila
