Hi! My name is Dan Blackburn and I live in England. I'm a former metallurgist turned Internet business owner, so decided to add more fun into all the hours I spend online by getting to know some new and interesting people.

After I quit my job a couple years ago, I lived in Spain for a bit. While there, I swam every day, a hobby that wasn't really practical once I returned to England. My main hobby is playing with and walking my Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Dave. I like a lot of different kinds of music, love a good film, can be sucked into a Star Trek marathon (but you would never catch me in a pair of Vulcan ears or a Klingon forhead). I enjoy hanging out with my mates, when they can escape their families.

I'm here to meet people and learn. I am a bit of a work-o-holic. At the begining of the Year my servers were hacked and I lost a lot. My first act after being hacked was to fix the insecure article directory script that many people are using and offer the patch for free. My focus now is on building my article directories Article Content King. This new site is quite young, with fewer than 400 pages, (compared to over 20,000 listed in Google for the free directory), yet we are already getting more search engine traffic to the blog and a much lower bounce rate.
