3 Things To Simplify How You Make Money Online

Updated on March 4, 2011

Do You Make Money Online?

If you’re beginner to that fancy subject of making money online, there are some things you should learn in order to simplify your life, and your entire making money process. The reason behind this is simple, making money online is not just about making money online :). It’s about specific lifestyle and specific state of mind, thinking in specific way.

Making money online was always, and still is driven by ultimate goal - to simplify life. You know, there’s no need to go the office and work for 8 or more hours each day, as you can do everything from your home.

The tips below will simplify things even more, I will tell you how to simplify your office space and tools of the trade. Ready? OK, let’s start.

Step 1 - Mobile Devices

First step to simplify the way you make money online is investment in mobile devices. One of the most popular mobile devices is a notebook. But notebook has two meanings:

  • A laptop - well, it’s mobile computer, isn’t it? And it’s still your basic tool of the trade, you need it to write, design and do generally more advanced stuff than surfing the web.
  • A notebook - a paper notebook is still in use, sometimes you need to write something down very quickly. Paper notebook will come in handy here.

Beside that, a cellphone is mandatory as you need to stay in touch with people. You can either invest in basic cellphone, or some fancy devices with iOS or Android operating systems - it’s your choice.

More than cellphone, you might want to use a tablet, let’s say - an iPad. It’s very useful device when it comes to surfing the web and keeping an eye on your social network profiles, wherever your are - on the couch, in a cafe etc.

Step 2 - Mobile Office

Using mobile devices instead of classic desktop is your first step in simplifying the way you make money online. Second step is switching to cloud-based applications, like Google Docs, Evernote or Springpad, and using Basecamp for project management. This is a huge step, because you no longer need to worry about making backups, and what’s more important - you can work from any device you have, from any place in the world - all you need is access to Internet and your logins and passwords.

Personally I’m no longer using off-line software beside OpenOffice to create PDF e-books. All my data is within the cloud, which allows me to access it from any device that can support web browsing. And this is simple.

You can keep up with all new fancy and fresh apps through FeedMyApp website, where new apps are always posted.

Step 3 - Outsourcing Is The Key

Final step is remembering about outsourcing. You don’t need to do everything on your own in order to get things done. You can outsource. For example, instead of coding your own Content Management System, use Wordpress that is free. Even more, you can hire a freelancer to install Wordpress on your server instead of doing it yourself.

Hire writers to write articles for your websites, hire designers to make website layouts, use cloud-based applications to make your job easier. This is outsourcing, and it’s very important step in becoming expert in making money online. Of course, don’t outsource something you like doing, or something you can do because you have a plenty of time. But if you got money, not time, then outsource whenever you can.

It will save you a lot of trouble.
