Updated on June 21, 2011

After several days later, I'm start writing in Hubpages. Actually, I was busy building my own blogs and blogs contents. The good news is that I am quite successful to build my blogs. In this page, I want to talk about some of the search engine optimization tips. Actually all of them are the top seo mistakes. You may called them common seo mistakes. All's are appropriate about search engine optimization. Remember, SEO has both good and bad effect for your website.SEO may earn a lot of fame and top rank if you apply them effectively. Otherwise the bad SEO mistakes may destroy your website fame and ranking and many more.

As SEO is the one of the way to rank well and it's an organic search, most novice and mid website developers and publishers are much concerned about the seo at the beginning of publishing or developing their blogs, websites, forums etc. But seo is not a game with some predefined old techniques. The logic of SEO is changing day by day and today's top seo rules can be changes within the start of the next day. Pretty confused? I think you are quite confused what I am talking. I want to talk that the seo techniques are changing day by day by the top search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.

What people mistake always?

Who doesn't like to rank first in Google or Yahoo...? For this ambition, many website owner and blog publishers always concerned SEO. So, they find the solution of their website or blog ranking with the help of SEO expert. Lots of companies offer SEO experts both high and small payment.  But what is the true scenario? If people follow these SEO experts then there are two possibilities either  (1) they don't really know what's they are doing and / or (2) gather "black hat SEO" techniques which can gather significant immediate traffic but ultimately the term ranking with Google or ranking with Yahoo etc.

Most common SEO mistakes that you should have to avoid

Over the last few years, I am learning SEO techniques and still learning. I learned lots of techniques and read lots books and documents to learn and apply SEO. But the amazing words are that the older SEO techniques and myths are lost and ineffective anymore. Moreover, if you apply those techniques, can destroy your website or blog or forum ranking form search engine ranking. So, I would like to share some of the SEO mistakes those are really need to avoid. I will talk about all these SEO mistake with some hubpages. In this hubpage, I will only mention and discuss only one technique. More techniques will be available soon.

SEO Mistake: Overflow of keywords in Meta-tag does not optimize site or blog ranking

Most website or blog owners and publishers think that adding keywords in meta-tag is very helpful for search engine optimization. It's true but not this truth dies. At the beginning era of the SEO optimizing, this techniques play a lot. Most webmasters just simply insert several relevant keywords and keyword phrases in the meta-tags of there website or blog pages. You are lucky that you will see one such type of heavily focused meta-tag keywords and keyword phrases.

In fact, adding keywords and keywords phrases in meta-tag does not totally wrong. Meta tags must have some value. But adding lots of keywords in meta-tags is not a good or wise decision. You may add some keywords and key phrases but adding lots of keywords with similar meaning is totally inappropriate. This has really a bad impact of your page ranking in search engines.

Moreover, you will be a little astonished when you finished reading this paragraph. Many SEO companies and paid products offer SEO techniques which are totally based on Meta tags. But forget this issue. Because in September 2009, Google decides not to consider meta tags for keyword research. Now a days, meta tags are used for spamming and it's not wise to index any page based on the meta tags keywords. Because contents are the king. Only unique contents are valid for organic search. But you should mention some of the great keywords based on your contents for meta tag keywords and keyword phrases. So, be smart for using meta thg keywods or keyword phrases and make your page rank high.

Throughout this page, I only discuss only one common mistake which may destroy your website fame and ranking and many more things. So, be careful when you are using meta tags keywords or keyword phrases. This is really a great tip if you are really serious about SEO. In my next post, I will discuss another great mistake that the both new and mid level publishers always don't care most of the times. I think that will also help you more to learn SEO.
