It Is Time To Change Our Thinking

Year after year we do what is right

We were taught to earn respect and things will work their way out

To do any job to the best of your ability

Your rewards will be great

To spend time fixing things that are wrong

So you will not make the same mistakes as in the past

To shoot for the stars

But don't be surprised if you are the only one their

Be happy what you have

You really don't need more

When you work hard you earn an honest living

Take your free time to rest your mind and body

Don't forget to Love along the way

Life without love is no life to live

Dedication pays off but not as quick as you might think

People will come and go

You will meet many in your lifetime

Be happy

 So you don't have to carry Chip on your shoulders no more

If you make mistakes it is not the end of the world

You end up paying for it through the nose

Hopefully not in blood

When it gets dark out you should go to sleep

Unless you are in college and are studying

Because you didn't do it when you were suppose to

No use asking when you were suppose to find the time to study? You know you could of did it earlier when you were goofing off

You are not the brightest bulb on the tree

That is why  this year they bought a new tree

You think you have the answers?

But all you really have is more questions

Go to work like everyone else and earn a living

Writing is something for fun but their is no money in it

You think you have troubles ?

What would you of done when it really gets tough

Like when I grew up that is when boys were men

No time to waste

 Haven't you already doodled enough

If you can't make up your mind now ?

How many lifetimes do you need?

Don't feel sorry for yourself

I could of told you years ago this was going to happen

Look at the bright side

You have had it on easy street till now

Your troubles won't go away

They will just keep building till you give them to me

Once a nut always a nut

You think you have a good idea ?

Then where did you get it from ?

Nothing happens without a reason

You should of seen it coming

Didn't I teach you anything ?

You only have one life

Don't screw it up

You should of learned it in school

They just pass the kids through they don't really learn

All you have to do is figure out where you went wrong ?

Do you have the time to go back that far ?

I thought you were smarter than that

You surprised me again

Don't believe everything you hear or you will be mislead and be fooled most of the time

What goes up usually hits you in the face when you look

Here are just a few thoughts collected over the years

That nocked me for a loop
